Vivek Mandir is a non-profit social welfare organization founded in 2008 by the young litterateur Dr. Rakesh Sharma at Hukahara Uttarpara, a remote village under Jalangi Block in the Murshidabad district of West Bengal, India. The organization is registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961, bearing Registration No. S/1L 70688.Since its inception, ‘Vivek Mandir’ has been committed to serving underprivileged communities through various humanitarian and educational initiatives. Every year, the organization distributes notebooks, textbooks, and other essential educational materials free of cost to children from economically disadvantaged families, helping them pursue their education without financial barriers.To support families living below the poverty line, ‘Vivek Mandir’ regularly organizes the distribution of food, blankets, utensils, mosquito nets, dhotis, sarees, and clothing for children, all provided free of charge.With the vision of building a brighter future for students, Vivek Mandir has been running a free coaching centre since 2008, offering quality educational support to school-going children.Throughout the year, the organization also conducts a wide range of cultural, social, and religious programmes, fostering the values of service, sacrifice, compassion, and character building. Through its continuous efforts, Vivek Mandir remains dedicated to the holistic development of society and the empowerment of those in need.
